South Ibiza

Ibiza - Salinas Beach - Cala Jondal - Porroig - Es Vedrà - Ibiza

  • South Ibiza
  • A route to discover the most beautiful spots in the South of Ibiza and get a close-up view of the imposing islet of Es Vedrà—a place shrouded in mysticism, featured in thousands of postcards and stories...

Stop 1: Salinas - Cala Pluma

Departing from Marina Botafoch port, the first stop is the well-known Ses Salines beach, named after the salt flats located just behind it.

The beach is also famous for its beach clubs, where you can immerse yourself in a cosmopolitan, fun, and totally relaxed atmosphere.

At the southern tip of the beach stands the Ses Portes tower, which in the past served as a lookout to warn the island of possible pirate invasions.

    Stop 2: Cala Jondal

The next anchoring point is Cala Jondal, a beautiful bay also known for its excellent restaurants, its pebbly “sand,” and the lively vibe that starts to take over as the sun begins to set.

    Stop 3: Porroig-Es Torrent

The third stop is Es Torrent and Porroig, a peaceful spot next to Cala Jondal—perfect for a quiet swim after the livelier atmosphere of Jondal.

Its stunning cliffs and crystal-clear waters will leave you in awe.

    Stop 4: Es Vedrà-Cala d'Hort

And finally… Es Vedrà and Cala d'Hort

This majestic islet rises 382 meters above sea level and gives its name to the natural park it belongs to.

Nowadays, the only strange thing would be not being amazed by what might be one of the most beautiful places in the entire Mediterranean.

We will also visit the nearby beach of Cala d’Hort, with its turquoise waters and two of the most well-known restaurants in the southern part of Ibiza: El Carmen and Es Boldadó.
